This week, in Parshat Hukat
This week, in Parshat Hukat, the Israelites face major thirst while wandering in the desert. Moses, instead of kindly asking the rock for water as God tells him to do, hits the rock instead. Moses’ punishment for this is the harsh reality of never entering the Land of Israel that he guided the Israelites to.
May we all have the strength to have faith in the directions given to us and to enact our lives with kindness.
