Willow House Guest Speaker Night

Willow House Guest Speaker Night

Dear Friends,

Willow House is proud to host the 2nd in our series of Willow House Guest Speakers Night on Thursday April 27th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. We are honored to welcome David Jacobson, Founder & Funeral Director of Chicago Jewish Funerals. David is a leading expert on Kavod Hamet, the Jewish traditions of honoring and respecting the dead. He is a frequent speaker at many of the Chicago area’s congregations, community groups and schools. David is often asked to speak to young people and their families about the dying process, Jewish funeral traditions and bereavement.

Education and continuing education is an important part of the Willow House mission in advocacy for grieving children and families. David will educate us, answer questions and provide opportunities for discussion about these important topics. All of which will provide attendees with a better understanding about Jewish rituals, traditions and grieving process.
