Julie: We haven't met, but your dad loved you so much and talked about you non-stop. Hence, I feel like I know you. Rick and I only had a short friendship, but he was a man of books, movies and laughter, and I only wish I'd known him longer. My heart goes out to you. I wish you peace.

Oh, what a band of friends we were back in the 70â??s! Rick fit right in, with his boyish charm and and his sense of humor and his passionate ideals...and, of course, his love of food! Rick will be sorely missed by many. My heart grieves with his family and friends. Thanks for sharing your life with us, Rick...

Julie & Karen, My husband Alan and I were sorry to hear the news about your father & brother. Rick was at our wedding and we hung out when we were in college. He was a smart and fun loving man. I saw him recently and he was happy to be living in Munster near Julie. Take care, - Debby Gierman Walker
