OBITUARY

Flora Isenberg nee Steiner, age 97.

Beloved wife of the late Arnold Isenberg. Cherished mother of Alan (Alisa) Isenberg and Barbara (Max) Rose. Adored grandmother of Adam (Stacy) Isenberg, Daniel (Miriam Glaser) Isenberg, Elliot (Stacy) Rose, Jeremy (Devin) Viland-Rose, and Zachary (fiancé Megan Laudenslager) Rose. Treasured great-grandmother of Jordan, Meira, and Elana Isenberg, Taylor and Morgan Rose, and Avery and Alexandria Viland-Rose. Flora was loved and respected by her family and her friends. She loved Mahjong, needlepoint, and her famous mandelbread. Flora was a lifelong member of Skokie Valley Traditional Synagogue, a proud member and president of the Sisterhood, and a Woman of Valor recipient. She will be missed by many. I remember your mom as a sweet lady who loved her family. It is never easy to lose someone, and maybe harder when they have had a long life. I know you all have fond memories of so many happy occasions.
