I really enjoyed having Sasha in my English class! He loved to read and study anything about space! I remember after he read Apollo 13, he wrote a letter to Captain Lovell! His smile lit up the room and I was so happy to present him with the Principal's Breakfast Award! He is remembered fondly and will be missed! I send my heartfelt condolences to his family.

This last year working with Sasha has been very special for me and I will miss him beyond description. Thank you for the honor and privilege of the time we spent together. I know that I received more from Sasha than I gave and the void that I feel is only comforted by the thought of Sasha wrapped up in the arms of Hashem in shamayim.

I was lucky enough to get to know Sasha last year as his PAL. No matter how long my week had felt, I always looked forward to seeing him during fifth period on Fridays. His smile and kind spirit lit up the room and talking with him, even when it was about nothing in particular, always made my day. He will be very missed and I send my heartfelt condolences to his family and every other person Sasha touched simply by being himself.
