I remember that we would always play monopoly together and have so much fun and we loved going to aquarium and also going to Josh’s for hotdog and always going out to breakfast with them. And also, we rode the train a lot together. And going the beach when they visited us in California.

When our family moved to Fort Wayne Indiana , from New Jersey , Harrietwe we both those we lived down the block from our family. I was nine years old and Harriet was eight years old.. It was so nice because both our families were Jewish.. So Harriet and I and my twin sister Lynne were little girls together and teenagers and then IU. together in Bloomington . Later we were in Chicago together and until I moved to New York..in 1969 with my husband and Carrie my daughter who was just 18 months old.. Over the years. I did visit Harriet and Allen a couple times.. I recall. 1994 and another time with my children .. So we have a big history together… When we talked on the phone in recent years , we still reminisced about NORTHSIDE highschool and how we were blessed and honored to grow up when we did in the FIFTIES… IT WAS THE BEST EVER.. SO what I want to say, is that I was able to speak with my dear sweet HARRIET 4;days in a row before she passed …. I talked about our lives together and knowing each other each other for 76 YEARS.. I Told her he much I loved her, and yes my last words to her was MY HARRIET I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL… you are missed m y dear sweet lovely kind fiend…

We were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of our dear friend of so many years. Harriet was a person of strong character, high intelligence. resilience, and dedication to the Jewish people and to Israel. We will miss our pithy conversations and joyous meetings.
