Barbara S. Shapiro, nee Senn, age 92.
Beloved wife of the late Harvey. Loving mother of Deborah (Robert) Render, Bobby (Liz Nessen) Shapiro and Laurie (Ray) Gonzalez. Proud grandmother of Daniel (Emily) Render, Nathan (Tal Bendor) Render, Sylvie Render, Hannah Shapiro, Sam Shapiro, Elijah Gonzalez and Zachary Gonzalez. Adored great grandmother of Orly and Naomi Bendor, Kate, Jack and Annie Render. Dear sister of the late Richard Senn. Fond companion of the late Marty Davis. Barbara was an avid Scrabble player, emailer extraordinaire, and loved the beach and eating healthy (chocolate included) and supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their passions. Service Friday, December 8, 2023, 11 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Zion Gardens Cemetery, Chicago.
