For "Mickey" my best buddy growing up on Haskins Avenue on the far north side of Chicago, his wife Jo and their sons David and Marc and their families, I along with my wife Barb send our sincere sympathy. We were so blessed to spend an afternoon with Mike and Jo this past July talking about "old times" in Chicago - growing up as classmates in kindergarten thru 8th grade at Gale School - 'til a year later when I moved 400 miles north to the shores of Lake Superior. We stayed in touch , made a number of visits thru the years, and always enjoyed reminiscing about the "old times" in the apartment building and neighborhood "across the alley from the CTA elevated trains turn-a-round". We were perfect little angels - well maybe a little bit of devilish behavior now-and-then, but were both blessed with parents who taught us "right-from-wrong" and "put-up with" our occasional little pranks (minor, of course).
God bless you Jo, David, Marc and families, and God be with "Mickey".
From "Bobby", (the kid who spent his summers "up North in Felch"), and Barb Cambensy

Mike was a wonderful person and very kind man. We found it so meaningful to attend the service virtually. We send our condolences and will definitely miss him.

I had no idea how much uncle Mike was embedded into my being until I refused to admit he passed away. This denial made me "forget" and miss sharing the celebration of Mike.

I know there are many blessings but I can only think of the one I would hold for the highest of family, a parent.
