OBITUARY

Albert Hazan, 100 years and 5 months. Beloved son of the late Haim Hazan and the late Rebecca Hazan nee Elias. Loving brother of Esther Hazan, the late Sarah (the late Seymour) Scher, the late Regina Resis, the late Simon Hazan, and the late Irving (Sally) Hazan. Cherished uncle of Robert (Leslie Herman) Resis, Steven (Nancy) Resis, Sharon (Christopher Grew) Resis, Rick (Tracey) Hazan, and Gary (Brooke) Hazan, and great uncle of many.

Albert was a courageous WWII combat infantryman. He served in the Pacific and European Theaters, including the Battle of the Bulge. Recipient of numerous medals, including the Purple Heart.

Albert was actively involved in the Sephardic Congregation, and in 2014, the congregation honored him with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Albert was a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends from the Sephardic Congregation.
