Dave Perlman, age 98 (and almost a half).
Beloved husband of the late Florence nee Silverstein. Dear father of Howard (Orly) Perlman and Marlene (the late Larry) Putterman. Proud grandfather of Beth (Evan) Linderman, Dayna (Adam) Katz, Caren (Lee) Ettleman, Henry (Tamar) Perlman, Danielle (Jeff) Croghan, Shirelle Beneven, and Rone Perlman. Great grandfather of Lev, Daniel, Reese, and Lielle Linderman, Layla, Mia, and Judd Katz, Lavi, Jonah, and Romi Ettleman, Eliyah and Ezra Perlman, and Crosby and Zoë Croghan, and Zavik. Cherished brother of the late Thelma Perlman and Marshall Perlman. Graveside service Tuesday 9:30 AM at Shalom Memorial Park (Sec. VII Mt. Zion) 1700 W. Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Dave was such a GOOD man. A friend of my family—especially to my father, Morris. I saw him as one of those few, men, soft spoken men who day by day lived to mend the world. May we all try to carry on, in whatever quiet ways we find, the love, light, and warmth that Dave Perlman contributed to this world.

Please accept my sincerest condolences upon the loss of your dear father and grandfather z"l. Dave was such a very warm, kind, friendly and special man, as was your late mother, Florence. Your father always had a smile on his face and exuded such warmth.
Dave along with your late mother were a great team!

I loved Dave and Florence very much. Yes, I was their caregiver. But it was so much more than that. They made me an honorary member of their loving, caring family. I am so grateful for the opportunity to know and to love them both. The stories Dave told me with such detailed clarity will be treasured always. He was intelligent, patient, humorous, methodical, handsome and genuine...One of a kind. The world was fortunate to have him in it for over 98 years, but I wish it could have been more. Dave and Florence both taught me life lessons on a daily basis that I quietly tucked away in my heart. I am a better person now than I was before I met them. May they both rest in the tranquil peace that they have been promised and have earned. My heartfelt condolences to the wonderful family they created together. A comforting peace be with you, as well. I love you all.
