Dear Jean, I am very sorry to learn that Stephen passed away. Oh my gosh, he was such a Sukkat Shalom Figurehead that I really can't imagine walking into the sanctuary without seeing him there. Usually close to the front, but not the front row! He radiated kindness and exemplified what our Sukkat community is all about. Support, acceptance and love. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I remember Steve well from our days working with Larry Sherman. He was always engaging in conversation and well versed in politics. I know in his retirement years he became very interested in Jewish topics as we used to run into both of you at lectures. May you have fond memories of him and may his memory be for a blessing.

Dear Jean,
Steven will be missed by many for the wonderful smiles he could create with his quite soft humor. He will be missed for his wit, humor, and caring for others. My summer BBQ will never be the same without his presences! Jean, I am here for you. So please do not hesitate to call for a shoulder to lean on or for a good listener when you feel the need to have another friend . This one will strive to cheer you up with fresh baked brownies or home baked cookies or to go for a stroll at the Botanic Gardens. Sending Hugs Marlene
