OBITUARY

Pearl M. Pam.

Loving daughter of the late Beverly and Edward Pam. Beloved mother of Reesa (Wes) Pam. Proud grandmother of Ean and Bentley Pam. Dear sister of the late Evan (Claire) Pam. Dear aunt to Sean and Colleen Pam. She will be missed greatly by many cousins, friends, and former colleagues. Everyone that met Pearl Pam came away with a smile. She was adored by her coworkers and the customers she served at Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. Pearl maintained life-long friendships with many people and provided the foundation of support for her family. She was smart, adorable, and kind, politically savvy, with a keen wit and sense of humor. She had a marvelous linguistic flare. Pearl was especially proud of her fluency in Spanish which greatly expanded her circle of friends. A special thanks goes out to the staff at Manor Care. The caring and kindness shown to Pearl was invaluable in helping us get through this difficult time. We will miss our Dear Pearl. We are also grateful to the doctors and nurses at Northwest Community Hospital-Oncology. Thank you, Dr. Randall Rich and Dr. Stephen Nigh for your caring and expertise. To keep everyone safe and healthy all arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W Bryn Mawr Ave Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631, www.abta.org. It's not often that someone is lucky enough to have a friend become a sister. But that's what I had with you. I will miss you for the rest of my life. We sure had a blast, an amazing run. See you in the next world.

Pearl-have known you for many years and have enjoyed your sense of humor and kindness-didn't see you for a long time and you were missed. You have been like a member of the family and have known Pinky a long time. Always a good mother to Reesa and Granma to Ean and Bently. Happy trails to you until we meet again. Love and miss you-Scott

As long as I have been alive, I have known Pearl. Thank you for being one of the amazing women in my life. I will never forget your energy, laugh, voice, humor, kindness, and lemon squares - NO ONE makes them like you. The strength and optimism with which you fought this battle will stay with me always. Thank you for all of the love you have given me over the years, sending so much love out into the universe for you. I will miss you!

There is so much I want to say. All the love and memories are decades long.
I drove through Evanston and Skokie today, We had memory's on every corner.
One Of many achievements was her speed skating she raced with the Northbrook speed skating team. Her dad took me to watch her she was great.
I could go on and on with wonderful Pearl stories. We met in Sunday school at shul at the age of 5yrs. From that moment on the fun began.
Rest In Peace my brilliant friend who always helped me with my school work. It was because of Pearl I was able to pass many classes. Pearl knew I was dyslexic she never judged she helped me. That's who Pearl was if she could help she was there ..
I am more blessed for having a friend like her. I don't know if I'll ever get over this loss but I know she would want all of us to go on and be happy.
I love you

Pearl, you were always so sweet and wanted to have an update on how things were going every time I'd see you. I came into the family around the age of 6 and one of my first memories of meeting Tedi, Connel, and Andi was also having Reesa there. We were painting the murals in Rogers Park. I assumed Reesa was another one of my new cousins and that you were my Aunt. I have been shown time & time again that blood does not make you family alone. Who's there for you, who you share memories with, who you go through tough times with... THAT'S family ❤️ You are missed and you are loved. Holding all your friends & family in my thoughts.
