Dr. Art was such a kind and caring man. I know this because he took the time to speak with me when I had been diagnosed with CLL. I was pretty scared and depressed at the time of his telephone call with me. He calmed my fears and gave me information which kept me from losing it. Rest in peace , Dr. Art.

My condolences to you, Carol, and family. Even though I have never met you and Art, I feel like I know you as my sister, Anne is so fond of you and family. Anne talks about you, Art and family always I also will never forget how Art's calming voice and demeanor helped our brother, Stephen, when he was first diagnosed with Cancer. Art was a true gentleman and a kind soul to Stephen and his wife. They had many questions about his diagnosis and Art helped us. God bless Art and may he rest in peace. My heart goes out to you and family.

I worked at oncology specialists and before that
With Advocate in the department of medical records
For 25 years Dr.Hoobernan was always so friendly. We had
Great talks about our families while he came in
Looking for charts or records .
He was my favorite doctor and everyone knew it .
My sincerest and deepest condolences to his family!
I was so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Bedonna Fiedler

It has been my good fortune and privilege to know and work with Art over these many years. Our piano lessons were a mutual exploration and sharing of music (and the world at large). Art was curious and insightful and had a wicked sense of humor. And, above all, he had a bottomless well of love and and respect for Carol and Hilary and Nathan. A truly good man.
