Dear Pam and family,my deepest sympathies to you all on the passing of your brother, Michael. I spent a lot of time at your house growing up. I will always remember Michael walking around with a piecce of sports equipment in his hands and talking about the Bears or the White Sox. I know he will be greatly missed, but forever in your hearts. May his memory be a blessing. Love, judi

May God bless Mickey ( known at times as Mizzou). He was uniquevand a good friend. We lived together ( Lipkin, Massarsky and Silverstein) and had many wonderful adventures.. Micheal worked for many years in the financial profession at the Mercantile Exchange ..he was the first baseman when our school Mather Hgh won the Chicago city championship in baseball..He had a photographic memory when discussing sports statistics. He loved his friends and families. I will miss this beloved friend and will keep the memories eternally.

I will miss Mickey. I met Mickey thru Ed Silverstein when Mickey visited Ed in Champaign. We became very good friends on his many trips. He met a lot of my friends and we gave him his own nickname…. Mazoo. At that time Mickey and I talked about sports as I am also an advid White Sox, bears, bulls fan. I’ve had season tickets for U of I football and love all U of I sports.

About 4 years ago, after many years, reconnected and would have long conversations about all Chicago and U of I sports. Sometimes for 2 hours. I will miss the many conversations we had. He was my rock on all things sports.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. He was a great guy. If a family member wants to call I can tell them many stories. Rest in peace Mazoo.

This was a beautiful tribute to Mickey. It introduced me to him as I never really knew him other than being your little brother. He left f0nd memories for many people.
My love to the family, Be (Bette)
