OBITUARY

Jack P. Rimland passed in peace at age 78. Beloved husband of Marlene, nee Silver. Adoring father of Stephany Rimland (Alex Sicner). Proud grandfather of Sydney Sicner. Dear brother of Tema (Yaron) Sternberg. Fond uncle of Jeremy Sternberg (Leigh Gilligan) and David Sternberg (Reagan Lake). Cherished great uncle of Tal, Marni and Vida Rose.
Jack P. Rimland was a prominent Chicago attorney who practiced criminal defense for nearly five decades. He served his profession with integrity, compassion, humility, and respect. Jack practiced at both the Federal and State levels. His clientele ranged from politicians and athletes to persons sitting on death row. He is best known for being a tireless champion for justice, as well as a family man, loyal friend, and mentor to many in the legal community. He was a member of several bar associations as well as a past President of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and founding member of the Chicago Lincoln Inn of Court. He will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the legal community. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the interment service will be private. Naomi & I send our love, condolences, and we will reflect on fond memories I have of having "Jack Perry" in our life. A person of goodness, who touched many, many lives. I can only imagine the debt of gratitude which is owed for Jack's tireless work on behalf of others and for justice.
