Lucy was very special to me not only because she was the mother of my best friend but because she made me feel loved as one of her own. Her home was always open to me and her words of encouragement lifted me when I felt down and motivated me to always honor my talents. Her taste in music , art and interior design were shared between us and I treasure each unique experience we had together. I will miss knowing she is in my corner. You were loved Lucy

Dear Jennifer and Judy, sending you love and prayers. Your mom was such a fountain of strength, of warmth, of brilliance, of wisdom, of humor. She, with Emily Knight and Jean Berghoff, took the Ravinia education programs to new heights, she made my time at Ravinia a blessed one. I'll always be grateful.

Fondly,

Though I never met her, I know Lucy through her daughter Judy and grandson, Conrad, and feel her beautiful spirit shine through these two beautiful souls. It is a blessing to reach your final rest knowing that your children and grandchildren continue your work and pass on your energy and love.
