Beloved husband of Toby nee Pizer. Loving father of Julie Herr (Matthew Shirrell). Proud grandfather of Lucy Herr Shirrell, Caleb Herr Shirrell and Eleanor Herr Shirrell. Dear brother of Stephen Herr. Devoted uncle of Jacqueline Vlietstra, Rachel Tzinberg, Erica Howard, Daniel Herr, Andrew Herr, Mark Herr, and the late David Lewy. Service Tuesday 12PM at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 W. Delaware Place, Chicago, IL. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery.
