OBITUARY

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of Rand Gloger's sudden passing. This is a shock for all of us.
Just yesterday we listened to Rand's soul-stirring Sh'ma guiding us to recommit ourselves to our Jewish tradition. He was a tireless and caring sacred partner whose leadership brought us together as one congregation.
This week we will honor his memory (details below) and offer his family our love and support. We will find a time for a greater communal honoring to recognize the immeasurable contribution Rand made to this congregation, which he loved so dearly. I'm at a loss for words. Rand was not only my 1st cousin but we were like brother and sister in our earlier years,

I am very sad to read if Randy's death. He was a good kud and a good friend. Perhaps you don't recognize my name. I lived across Linder and a few doors north of you in Morton Grove in the 60s. Randy and I were friendly for several years. My condolences to all of you. Jerry Kaplan

My brother did amazing work in helping merge the 2 congregarons into a lovely Community. The affection, admiration AND respecto of the large gathering 8n temple AND at Mincha services was so comforting for my sweet SIL, Isa.

What a shock to hear about Rand's passing. I always enjoyed having conversations in Dutch with him, such a great guy, wonderful sense of humor. A tremendous loss to Isa and family. Sending condolences to all of you.
