Sunny was a second mom to Marc and. Second grandma to Justin. She was a great lady, fun and interested in everything the next generations were doing. Shad an uncanny way of being welcoming and nonjudgmental. We spent many happy hours hanging out and being welcome guests in her cute Skokie home when we visited Chicago. She was a constant in our lives and is greatly missed.

Dear Joanne, Pam, Laurie and family,
Esona was always a breath of fresh air, always so fun and watching her dance at Julie and Leigh's wedding just a short time ago was on of the highlights of the evening.
I will always have fond memories sharing 4th of July with your parents and watching them dance in the middle of Niles West football field, they were a kick. Now she
is dancing again with your dad.
Love to you all

Pam, Laurie, and Joanne - Our family had no real Aunts and Uncles since our parents were both " only children " so I was only too happy to consider your Mom and Dad my Aunt and Uncle and you all my cousins. We shared so many happy occasions from the time I was born. Your parents were also there to console during difficult times and support at the time of my own parents' deaths. I couldn't have loved your mom (and dad, of course) more if she was "real" family, as I do all of you. Wishing you happy memories only. Your mom was treasured by so many.

Your mother (and father) created a family filled with love, compassion, commitment and humor. I was honored to know her and to know her amazing family. My heart is with you all at this emotional time. Xoxo
