So sorry to hear about Uncle Stan's passing. He was such a gentleman, always. I have such fond memories of everything from the Christmas parties at the Yacht Club, when I was a child, to his avid interest in everything and everyone in his later years. He was never one to retire from the world. Had my dad lived longer, I think he would have turned out just the same. Perhaps the two of them are up there somewhere now, exchanging stories. Uncle Stan will be missed...

Stanley L. Jarrow, cousin to my father, Richard C. Jarrow was one of the finest men I have ever known. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and made everyone he encountered feel good about themselves. He served his country in World War II, was CEO of a very successful business, and a wonderful father and grandfather. I have many fond memories of â??Uncleâ? Stan. He gave me employment with his company when I was in high school, and took my dates and I out on his boat after my junior and senior proms. My sons and I were able to spend some time with him last summer and it was the highlight of our trip to Chicago. I will miss him greatly.
