Loving husband of Bonnie nee Miller. Beloved father of Michael and Alyssa Rubin. Proud grandfather of Levi. Dear brother of Marsha (the late Steven) Birenbaum and Carl (Gloria Epstein) Rubin. Cherished brother-in-law of Wayne (Sandi) Miller and Gale (Nehemia) Levin. Fond uncle of Simon (Whitney), Daniel (Rochel), Chava (David), Yitzhak (Zisa), Naomi (Zalmy), Shevy (David), Riffy (Yosef) and Shoshi (Gary). Betti and I would like to share our condolences. Dave was a mensch and truly an all-around nice guy. I will always remember working with Dave on the J Board and pounding with him under the boards on the court. Dave was a true professional and I respected his well thought out opinions. May his memory be for a blessing.

Bon. I am sorry I was physically unable to be with you and family today. That being said - I hope that your day today has left decades of love, joy, friends, family, trips, fun - and so much more. I am glad and utterly impressed that Dave was able to enjoy life and be with you longer than most thought could ever happen. I also hope that as time passes, your loss of Dave grows to deep remembrance and happiness through those years - as I have been able to have with my Dad.

I'm not too hot at lots of things in life now. But I know that my friendship with you and Dave - and my love for you both and your family - shall be with me as long as I can be on this earth. Love you more than I could ever say - and my heart shall be with you forever. You are an incredible gift, Bon.
