Dear Marc and Jenna...
Your dad figured prominently in our Indian Princess days and, of course, our epic trick-or-treating days. I remember him with a twinkle in his eye, always ready to be delighted or amused. I think Marc has that same look. I'm remembering growing up together fondly and sending you and your families so much love as you grieve...

Dear Bernie,

Though I didn’t really get to know you very much, but the few days and nights I spent with you made me realize how special you were to humanity. We know you are in a better place now.

Dear Marc: losing a parent is one of life’s greatest sorrow. Please stay strong and be courageous. My thoughts are with you and your family. Accept my heartfelt condolences..

Dear Marc,

This is such a lovely photo of your Dad.

It is so hard to lose a beloved parent. We brace ourselves, but nothing prepares you for the time it happens.

I send you and the whole family thoughts of love and comfort.

Be gentle with yourself and let people be kind to you.

I send a big hug from MTL,

xx

I am so sorry for the death of Bernie. I knew him from hiking. I always enjoyed talking to him. He had interesting stories and I loved talking about the most unusual classes that he always took. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Bernie as a hiker in the Forest Trails hiking club. I always enjoyed talking with him.
I have missed in in the years since he stopped hiking. My thoughts and prayers are with the family now.

We lived next door to Bernie and his family for many years and shared a great many experiences as our children played together and grew up. In recent years, I occasionally “bumped into” Bernie as we both attended Olli.
I send my condolences to his family.

That was such a beautiful service.

I am so proud of everyone who spoke so beautifully. You have done such a fine job in letting us know Bernie so much better....and to have honored his so well.

The rabbi is wonderful and warm....just perfect in every way.

It was an honor to attend this service,

With love, Linda Dillman
