Kathy and Ken, you have my deepest sympathy. Melissa was a beautiful and generous person. She gave me American Girl clothes for my granddaughter. When I saw her at your momâ??s she was so friendly to us, your momâ??s old friends. Melissa will be sorely missed. Cherish your beautiful memories and keep them close to your heart.

Melissa was a one of a kind. She had one of the biggest heart ever. She put the needs of others before herself. She was filled with energy every time I spoke with her. I know it took great effort on her part to come visit my sister Lorraine when she was ill. I know Lorraine really enjoyed seeing her and getting to visit with her because she told me how wonderful it was to visit with her. I will always remember her in my prayers. Now itâ??s time for her a reward.

To everyone in the Mayber family, on behalf of the Chicago Blackhawks organization I extend our condolences, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We are all very sorry for her loss. I had the opportunity to meet Melissa on only one occasion and found her to be a kind-hearted, fun-loving and sweet young lady who made those around her happy to be in her prescence. She, along with the entire family are in my prayers and Iâ??m confident that sheâ??s in a much better place than here on earth. May the Lord bless and keep her, and hold her in the palm of his hand. I am sorry about your Daughter and wanted to tell you how hard it is on the Gastroparesis site to hear how wonderful and caring she was and what a shock it was to hear about her passing. Your family will be in our prayers. ð???ð???
