Funeral Details

Ruth Weiss nee Sabransky passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband Leon, parents Morris and Vera Sabransky, brother Raymond Sabransky, grandchildren Aaron and Hannah. Ruth is survived by her sons Daniel (Sharon Alscher) Weiss and Paul (Shelagh Juracic) Weiss. Ruth and Leon had six beautiful grandchildren who have so many loving memories of their life growing up with their Grandpa Leon and Grandma Ruth, Brian (Jennifer) Weiss, Josh (Cheryl) Weiss, Max (Cacau) Weiss and Jenna Weiss. She also has four beautiful great grandchildren, Sam, Ella, Rachel and Jacob. Ruth is also survived by her sister in law Helen (the late Alex) Pinsky and nieces and nephews, Janet (Gadi) Cohen, Gail (David) Gottlieb, Milton (Ibby) Pinsky, Marty (Cindy) Pinsky and Laura Beth Sabransky. Ruth was an avid tennis and golf player, active in community theatre and a big presence in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She and Leon traveled extensively together for many years.
