In deep appreciation for the immeasurable influence which Rabbi Shapiro has had on our family and our grandchildren. We would not be who we are today if it weren't for him. May his memory continue to inspire and guide us all. May HaShem comfort his family among the mourners of Tzion and Jerusalem. O

I graduated Arie Crown in 1976. I have many fond memories of Rabbi Shapiro. Even when he had to discipline with the "semol dochah," I nevertheless felt the "yamin mekareves." He always encouraged me and had trusted that I would succeed.
Whenever I would visit the school after graduating, Rabbi Shapiro's would greet me warmly and I could feel his ahavah.
Rabbi Shapiro is one of the few people from that time in my life who had a direct and everlasting influence on me. It is because of that select group of educators that Rabbi Shapiro was part of that helped me become who I am today.
Take comfort in the fact he played a part in bringing someone closer to authentic Yiddishkeit, which in turn has an everlasting ripple effect in my descendants and talmidim.
