Our condolences to Alyssa and Reni during this difficult time. While I am no longer a congregant at BJBE, I will always remember your parents making me feel at home at what was then 901 Milwaukee Avenue. Both are missed and like BJBE, will always have a special place in my heart.

Mrs. Dickman was my freshman English teacher at Von Steuben. Through the study of literature, she introduced me to the idea that although life is complex, it can be understood through contemplation and analysis. I am 69 years old. I still remember the seriousness of her methods, but always done with her encouraging smile.
