Jim and I pledged Alpha Epsilon Pi at Penn State in 1967. We were then brothers and roommates over the next three years. We both attended Villanova Law School. I’ll always remember Jim as being a very organized individual. We had some great times together. I was shocked to hear of his passing but my fond memories of him will always remain. My thoughts are with his children and grandchildren.

Blair: I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was always so nice to me and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him at Bears games.

Jim was a great guy, I’ve known him for about 30 years both of us being from Philadelphia, but both ending up in Chicago. I will miss him, his good humor and his kindness. I am very sorry about his passing.

I have worked with Jim for nearly 30 years but our relationship crossed the line between the professional and friendship years and years ago . The past few years our contact was limited to a quarterly phone call -- something that, with any of my other clients, would have taken a moment or two. With Jim, I found time simply flew as we dished about one topic or another, frequently forgetting the original purpose of the call. I will miss those phone calls. I will miss Jim. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

Jim and I met as a result of him hiring me as a private investigator. I work many cases with Jim, including flying down to Miami to serve a defendant before he boarded a cruise ship. Jim was concerned that the defendant would be leaving the country to hide assets. Jim and I played racquetball many times at his health club on Fullerton Avenue. He loved music and talked about Jim Morrison and the doors is being one of our mutual favorite bands. He was extremely disappointed by seeing them live in Philadelphia due to Jim Morrison‘s in inebriated state. Jim was a great guy with a larger than life personality. He will be missed.

Jim and I moved across the street from each other in 1977, two young lawyers trying to build our family lives and professional careers. Three years later, without any clients, we formed a law firm and practiced together for 10 years. They were great, exciting, fun years. I will miss Jim.

Jim was a great friend and went out of his way to help me get started in the mortgage financing business back in 1995. Loved his sense of humor and passion for getting involved and helping others. We met at a real estate purchase closing and became great friends in Chicago. I enjoyed many Bears games, dinners, we started a Le Tip networking group, he was at my wedding and too many other great memories to list. I will miss talking with him.

I was sadden to hear of Jim's passing. We had not been in contact very often over the past few years, but I have very fond memories of our times together, especially in the 80's and 90's.
Jim and I were roommates for a while in a building that I owned on Southport, near DePaul University.

We also went to London and Amsterdam for a wonderful vacation. Additionally, we went on a couple of camping and rafting trips to Colorado.
During the early part of our friendship we spent many any evening having drinks and many laughs and good times.

I also prevailed on Jim to provide his talented legal skills. Both me and my father employed his services for a number of real estate requirements and other legal needs. He was always a tough and fair negotiator and we always felt that we had been well served.
His laughter and friendship will be missed.
My condolences to Blair and Cory and Lisbeth. He was a true friend. I will miss him.

Jeff and I have known Jim for about 25 years. He very quickly became a dear friend..
Jim was very proud of his family! He sang your praises all the time. He adored all of you.
For several years, Jim visited us in July for about 5 days. He was a fun houseguest, our dogs loved him! The first time we went grocery shopping together he introduced me to wines from New Zealand. I am forever grateful.
But most important, he was a good and true friend. I will think of him often, and remember the great times we had together.
Glad that he was in my life.

Jimmy and I first met at Camp Greylock in 1958. That was the beginning of our Lifetime Friendship for the next sixty six years!
I will always cherish our friendship and the priceless memories that we experienced at Camp Greylock and throughout our

Thank you Jimmy for for the vital contribution that you made towards our friendship and making the world a much better place.
My deepest condolences to Blair, Cory, Liz, Grandchildren and Everyone Else who had the good fortune of having Jimmy be a part
of their lives.
