Bianca ‘Jerry’ Kohlenbrener
Bianca, often called Jerry, was born August 19, 1928 in Rochester, New York and died on October 12, 2024. She lived most of her life in the Chicago area and was the daughter of the late Dr. Julian L. and the late Minnie Y. Mincer. Jerry was the adored wife of the late Dr. Robert Kohlenbrener and devoted mother of JoEllen (James) Kerwin, Laury (the late Shraga) Epstein and the late Paul (Lauren) Kohlenbrener. She was the cherished Savta (grandmother) of Yonah (Merav) Bareket, Malka (Oded) Yechiely, Israel (Tamara) Epstein, Danna (Moti) Kfir, Raphael (Ilit) Epstein, Avi (Neta) Epstein (All of Israel), Nikki (Zach) Goldman, Katie (Charles) Ruehr, Jeremy Kohlenbrener, Josh (Sarah) Kohlenbrener, Brian Kerwin and the late Baruch Epstein. Proud Great-Savta of 22.
Bianca Jerry was a high school teacher for many years. She particularly enjoyed her time at New Trier East where she taught the Behavioral Sciences. Over the years she became a knowledgeable antique collector.
She and her late husband were passionate world wide travelers. Service Tuesday, October 15, 11AM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe, IL. Interment Memorial Park.
