Funeral Details

I will miss our Cookie! She taught her students to love life and to push themselves in every aspect of their lives. She taught us younger teachers to manage the stresses of the job and to remember to have fun and build a strong support system. Cookie- thanks for being part of my support system!

I worked with "Cookie" for many years at Leif Ericson Scholastic Academy. She was both beloved by her students and highly respected by her colleagues as one of very best teachers at Ericson over the entirety of her career.

Cookie was our much loved cousin. She was kind, sweet and loving. Cookie gave so much love and asked nothing for herself. She was extra special to me because I remember when I was 3, and she was born. Most of the women in our family are/were educators, and we would meet for lunch on school holidays. That is how the next generation came to know and love her.

Cookie and Nathan enjoyed a long and happy marriage. Any and everything she did for him gave her pleasure. That was Cookie.

Iâ??m not surprised Cookie was so loved at Leif Ericsson. She took great pride in her school community and helping the students and teachers. She ways wanted to be up on the latest best practices and implementing the latest materials.

For all who loved her, be assured she loved you just as much back.
