I'm so glad that we could "be" there for Bella's funeral, very glad that the rabbi had actually met her, and so appreciative of everyone's memories, which sparked more of my own. Bella was a role model in so many ways--her fierce independence, as others have noted, her generosity and loving without judgment, and her commitment to living her life fully in her own inimitable style with grace and joy. We are lucky to have had her.

OUR LIVING ROOM
Bella joyfully played the piano in our home. I listened attentively with my beloved family; Papa ( Elic Droskin) my parents, Esther + Mort, my sister, Gail (Seaman Bradford), your sister, Reva (Sadow Moore) and
EB Moore. It was a lovely evening, preceded by a wonderful dinner prepared my Mom or maybe Chinese food from the Pekin House. Anyway, the evening went on and you accompanied EB on the piano, while he sang an aria from W.A. Mozartâ??s opera, â?Cosi fan tutteâ?.
We were in awe and reveled in this spontaneous live performance. The brilliant talent that the two of you presented to us was a gift of enormous delight. The musical notes, tones and lyrics ( at full professional volume) vibrated and brought the room to life in perfect harmony.
Then... around midnight, the telephone rang. Our neighbors asked us, â??to turn down the radioâ?!!!
We laughed with glee knowing that the sound resonated from our private performance, not WFMT!
This is truly one of my favorite childhood memories of magical moments shared with family.
