OBITUARY
Vivian P. "Vicki" Zagon nee Heackley, age 86. Loving wife of the late Phillip “Phil” Zagon for 65 years. Loving mother of Caryn (Samuel) Shulman, Lauren (Tod) Canon and Glenn (Cheryl Covici) Zagon and mother-in-law of the late Melissa Zagon. Proud Nana of Ben Shulman, Matthew (Sarah) Canon, Sydney Canon, Hannah Zagon and the late Sara Shulman. Dear sister of Tobey (the late Jack) Adatto and Rosalyn (the late Morris) Davis, loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, cousins and friend to all who knew her.
Vicki was a devoted and loving presence in the lives of her family and friends, always there to celebrate, support, and cheer for her children and grandchildren. Her warmth and enthusiasm shined through whether at a play, sporting event or just lending an ear, Vicki’s unwavering love and encouragement touched everyone who knew her. Her family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Alongside her husband Phil, they worked side by side at Zagon Business Service. She was responsible for helping grow ZBS into a successful printing company with her dedication and strong work ethic. Vicki would work long hours, yet made sure she was always there for her kids. She was known for her incredible kindness, generosity, and her boundless love-though she would never miss a chance to give her husband a little ribbing about his choice in clothes. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like baking her famous mandel bread, sipping on a vanilla milkshake or finding a bargain while shopping at Nordstrom Rack or the late Loehman’s. Her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her feel an immense loss, but her legacy of love and support will remain forever in their hearts.
