Debbie, Jon, and Alan,
My deep condolences to all of you and your families. The Brotmanâ??s and the Myers families have a long line of laughter and family memories together with your Mom and Dad. In addition, my Mom ( Joyce) worked in your Dadâ??s office so many years ago. Sending you BIG love. ❤️

"Pete, I pushed you to aim higher but now I am about to leave you. You know that I love and that to me you are more than just my caregiver." - roughly 24 hours after those words from him, Dr David J Myers - my patient, boss, friend, mentor and father-figure departed for the after life. No other patient before was able to touch my life as profoundly as Dave. That is the reason why, albeit I am not a very sentimental person, David's passing certainly do leave a void in me. He had tremendous trust in me that on several occasions he wanted to invest in me financially but I turned him down out of propriety despite his insistence and protestations. My respect and salute to the man. To Debbie, Jon and Alan - I could only speak for the two years or so I was with your Dad. I am witness to the fact that his last two years were all about you and his desire to extend those years was still about you. No doubt he wanted to make amends and perhaps be the father he thought he never was. I do have a funny confession to make. I could only imagine the wrath of your father's anger towards me if he knew that the love letters he asked me to pen for that Korean lady never really reached her. And those supposed replies from her were also written by me. Im sorry. I am aware that I am not suppose to play tricks like that but he left me with no choice otherwise I would have placed myself in a collision course with you had I followed your father. Besides, I did share the same view/objection as regards the relationship. But my gamble paid off so I guess I am exonerated. Slowly thru that supposed correspondence Dave realized the details he refused to even glance at prior. To Susan, Shelly and the rest, thank you so much for your kindness.
