Both Ellen and Ilya enjoyed lighting the Hanukah candles with. Mickey. Both of us appreciated how Mickey shared his family traditions with us. We will miss Mickey's kindness and his smile. We are out of town, and unfortunately cannot attend the service. Ilya and Ellen.

We had the privilege of knowing Mickey as a neighbor and friend for 20 plus years. He was a gentleman and a great asset to the building as a financial watchdog. Judy and I will miss him. Our condolences to Tobi and the entire family. Bill Goldberg

So many special memories. Mickey was a treasure. He always had a smile on his face. He had a special relationship with my parents, Aunt Brandel and Uncle Boruch. He was kind enough to take me to Beatles concert at the old Comiskey Park. Sending love to Steven, Lisa, and their families.

How fortunate and grateful we are to have known Mickey and Tobi Lefton as our neighbors and friends for many years.

We experienced first-hand Mickey's values and priorities in life (his family, his God, his country) together with that which was so important to him during his time on this earth (work, service to others, education, the arts, travel). What we witnessed was a man who led his life with purpose, commitment, loyalty, and integrity - yes, a life well lived.

We join Tobi in mourning the tremendous loss of this good man. We offer to Tobi and to all members of the Lefton family our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Mickey for the 15 years ive worked where he and Tobi have called their home. His personality was refreshing and funny. He was also known for his hard work and persistence. I appreciated and loved all the stories he shared with me over the years. You will be missed.

Deepest condolences to Tobi and the entire Lefton family during this time.
