So sad to hear of Jerry's passing. He was one of the most warm and welcoming people when we joined CKI back in the 90s. Our deepest sympathy to the Goldstein family

"Uncle Jerry" will be missed by many. His sense of humor, caring of others, and "gentlemeness" is a rare combination from which we could all learn and benefit. May his memory be for a blessing!

When I think of my Uncle Jerry it will always be with a smile. He was the original tickle monster. His sense of humor and fun pranks are legendary… where is The Fiddler???? He made me feel loved as a little girl even when he married Aunt Rose, a dental hygienist, and I locked myself in a bathroom when she visited because I was afraid of dentists. I think they forgave me! I loved visiting his home when I was younger and older. He was a wonderful cook (a grill master) and host. We shared a love of olives and blue cheese particularly paired with a yummy cocktail, only after “the school bus went by.” There are so many memories that, as I said before, will always make me smile. More seriously, I will never forget his kindness and generosity after my mom, his sister Shirley, died way to early. I felt Uncle Jerry’s and Aunt Rose’s special devotion to me and my growing family. How grateful we are to have shared so many simchas together. May his memory be forever a blessing.

Jerry:
What a wonderful an valued friend you have been for over 40 years!! So many fond memories of our days in Elgin before we both embarked on our western adventure's. Rarely can one say that in 40 years of friendship NEVER a harsh word was spoken...we can both say this and are richer for it. From the candy tray to our endless "who's turn to buy lunch" fun you will always be in my thoughts.

Rest well my friend and when we see each other again remember it's your turn to buy

Love to all
