Stephen “Steve” Daar, 78.
Beloved husband of Dale Berger-Daar. Proud father of Mitchell. Cherished son of the late Mabel and Philip Daar and second mother Charlotte Daar. Dear brother of Frank (Sheila), Judy, Randy (the late Susan), and Melissa (Osvaldo) Carvajal. Cherished son-in-law of Dorothy “Nana”and the late Larry Berger. Dear brother-in-law of Bob (Helene) Berger. Loving uncle of Noah, Alan, and Violet Daar and Sammy and Tomas Carvajal. Loving Unk to Rhonda (Robbie) Ball and Michele (Tony) Perkins. Most adoring Unk to Alexa, Ashley, and Ryan Ball and Shea, Blake, and Britton Perkins. Player, referee and avid soccer fan who loved everyone as much as they loved him. Service Sunday 10 AM at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 North Broadway Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Anshe Emet Synagogue or Transplant Village at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dale, I was very sorry to hear of Stephen's passing. You were such a good wife to him and made such an ultimate sacrifice. I am sure he appreicated all you did, and that he is resting in his Creator's loving arms. God bless you and your family.
