Burt,

He was more than just my ex- boss.
Burt Kozak was a smart, a teacher, a father, and the most loving person.
He was a VERY tough, and he taught me so many things about work but also about life. He was a GREAT individual, and most will say stubborn but very creative. I will miss him and his crazy jokes but also, he would never say my name correctly because I was either Mancia or Mudula. That was what he will call me for 28 plus years working for him. If anyone was around Burt, you will definitely learn a lot. There are so many great stories I can go on but now the time has come. He lived a great life and I'm sad to see him go. However, his spirit will always be around. This is not goodbye; but I will see you later.
Love you

Papa Burt was one of the hardest-working men I have ever met. He taught me a lot about the family business and, most of all, the importance of work ethics and loving what you do. I will always cherish the fond memories of Papa Burt, and so will those who met and loved him. This isn't a goodbye. This is why we are meeting again later. I will forever love the time we spent together.

Your loving granddaughter.

Burt Kozak was so much more than just my former boss; he was a remarkable teacher, a devoted father, and an incredibly loving soul. His brilliance and creativity shone brightly, complemented by a steadfast strength that inspired all who knew him. He shared invaluable lessons about work and life, leaving a profound impact on my journey.

While some might have seen his stubbornness, we understood it was a reflection of his deep passion and commitment. I will cherish his memory and am eternally grateful for the wisdom he imparted, not just to me but to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

The person I am today carries the imprint of Burt’s guidance and love. His life was full and impactful, and though I feel heartbroken by his passing, his spirit will continue to inspire us. This isn’t a farewell; it’s a heartfelt promise to honor his legacy until we meet again.

With love,

Burt was like a father to me. He gave me a job when I really needed one. That was 22 years ago and I am still with Eazypower today. I will always be grateful to him for giving me a break. Thank you Burt. You will sorely be missed.

Growing up in Budlong woods Burts restaurant was a very big part of my childhood. He would let us stay even if we just had fries and a coke. My condolences to his family
