Working with you the past 10 years has been nothing but a blessing. There are so many fond memories! You were kind, caring, compassionate, funny, generous, sweet, and selfless. You dedicated much of your time and energy to helping others and made sure their concerns were heard and addressed. Praying peace and comfort over your family. You will be so very missed by many! Barry, I'm grateful for the few years I was able to work with you. Your wisdom and friendship have always meant a lot to me, and I often have thought about the lessons I learned from you. Not only a great doctor, but a master carver of beautiful pens and a practitioner of Tai-Chi. You certainly lived life to the fullest!

I am so, so sorry to learn of Barry's passing. I did not know that his health was poor. I knew Barry way back when, when I lived in Chicago. He went to medical school with my sister. I moved to Chicago and Barry and the gang included me in their "fellowship". Barry was the kindest of the group!! I did not know him in his professional role or as your father, but based on my experience of his warmth and compassion, I am certain that these qualities were brought to his relationship and love of you and his patients. I am so saddened by Barry's passing, as so many people are. My sincerest condolences to you. His spirit and love will remain with you daily. May the sadness and loss that you feel -- and will undoubtedly will continue to feel for quite some time -- be gradually replaced by an abundance of pride, love, respect, and admiration of your dad's exceptional being, and a continuation of energy for life that your father would want you to feel.

Sending our love to the Abraham's family. Barry raised beautiful children and that is a testimony to him as an amazing father.
