I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Goldberg. When I was in high school, I was able to "student teach" with her over at Longfellow. It was my first experience with a cooperating teacher. I was so lucky to get to work with her and keep in touch with her through college and my teaching career. She was such a wonderful teacher and person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Goldberg was my first grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School. I have been truly fortunate to maintain a friendship with her over almost 40 years since. It is almost hard to remember a time in my life that Carol was not a part of, and sad that she won't be in the days ahead. Carol was a very special teacher, both inside and outside the classroom. She encouraged my love of reading and my curiosity for the world. Much love to her family at this difficult time. May her memory be for a blessing.
