Funeral Details

Chuck was one of the kindest men I have ever had a chance to spend time with. Over the years Aaron and I have become best friends and every time I was at your guys house he made me feel just like I was at home whether it was coming down to talk to us buy us wings and pizza or anything to make us feel at home. He wanted what was best for everyone he cared for and that’s a trait not many others have. Reflecting back with my parents I recall when Aaron and I had a falling out for a few months in middle school. Chuck and Linda were always so kind when talking to my parents, about me, even though Aaron and I weren’t as good of friends. Fortunately over the next summer I was drafted onto his bronco team. I will forever be greatful for that summer because I was able to become much closer to Aaron who is now like a brother to and I can thank Chuck enough for that. I want to thank Chuck and the whole Mishoulam family for everything. I am forever grateful for having Mr. Mishoulam in my life. Rest In Peace Chuck you were a great man, mentor, and father.

I met Chuck when we coached our sons' bronco baseball team to a perfect record. 0-17. It was a unique excercise in getting know someone. We never got down, we never sniped at our players and we became fast friends. Chuck had a wonderful of way looking at you. His head tilted, the angular corners of his mouth lifted in a natural grin, his light eyes seeing you as you would want to seen, always at your best. Chuck radiated an empathic warmth like few others. When you were in Chuck's attention you felt special, appreciated for your uniqueness, uplifted. We shared baseball, being small business owners, both having keen interests in the progress of our respective religious communities and local philanthropic causes. We shared stories of the big and little triumphs of our children. But mostly from Chuck I sensed a raw delight in being alive, a wry wonder at what would come next, and I left every conversation with the sense that I was blessed by it, that my world, that our world, was made better, more peaceful, more beautiful merely by the presence of Chuck in it. May his memory be a blessing.

I worked for Chuck for almost 30 years. He was a kind and intelligent man. I owe him so much personally that I find it difficult to put into words. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Thank you for everything Chuck.

I agree totally with all of the beautiful words already spoken about Chuck, how true they are.I had the pleasure of meeting and staying with Chuck and family when my son and I visited from Scotland. I'm still feeling numb and in disbelief. I first met Chuck in college 40+ years ago. Over the years we have helped each other in so many ways. That's what stands out. Chuck was a hard-working and giving person. The world is at a loss and many will miss him. My condolences to the family and those whose lives Chuck touched.

Chuck was so much more than a boss to those of us that had the pleasure to work for him. He was a leader, a mentor, a positive example and I'm proud to say a friend. With his boundless energy, he was a wonderful role model for everyone of us. The Alert family sometimes had it's challenges, but was always filled with a positive sense of accomplishment and celebrated with much comradery, laughter and joy. He truly cared for his employees and customers alike.
I will miss our conversations, hearing about his beloved sons, or sharing a laugh over a funny story, or his encouraging words, I always felt good after hearing his calming voice.
May his memory be eternal.

Linda, Zachary and Aaron, I had the pleasure to work for Chuck back in 1984, my first real job in the secular world. He is one of a few men in my life that I can call a mentor. He was a fair, kind, firm boss. He encouraged me to do better and spoke truth into my life when the world pressed in. I was also brough into his world of family and jewish culture. Those moments (lessons) rushed back into my mind on my trips to Israel. Those moments are still so real to me now. Since that time working for him, I have enjoyed my carreer in the security/systems intragration industry for over 35 years, electrician for 20, youth ministry for 25 years and married for 32 years. Chuck was a true example of a "Tekton" in my life and he will be missed. My sincerest condolences and prayers for you and your sons at this time. Shalom.
