Ann Leiner nee Bashook, age 86

Loving wife of the late Marvin. Cherished mother of Rachel (Manuel Rider-Sanchez) Leiner and the late infant Daniel. Adored grandmother of Brianna and Alex. Dear sister of the late Bernice "Bunny" (the late Skip) Marlowe. Ann had a gift for remembering names and for making every person she met feel as though they had made a new friend. Her passions were her grandchildren, dogs, reading, and helping others. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the interment service will be private. I met your beloved mother at the JCC aqua fitness class and she was one of the shining lights of the group. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a warm greeting for each of us. She never complained about anything and always had a positive word and a smile, no matter what health issues she faced or how cold the water. She will be missed and her memory is a blessing to all who knew her! May you find comfort in having shared her love!

Ann was one of those people who lit up a room. I always smiled upon seeing her enter the minyan, and she always had a kind word to say. She was beloved in the community and will be greatly missed.
