OBITUARY

Jean Block, nee Rose, age 92

Beloved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Sheree Block, Nanette (Block) Perkins, Phil (Becky) Block and the late Steven Block , proud grandmother of eight and great grandmother of 3. Jean still worked 35 hrs a week and filled the rest of her day baking, constantly trying out new recipes, cooking and playing virtual Mahjong with her close friends. She loved her cute little dog Ronnie. He was her constant companion, both at work and at home. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the services are private. Jean was a very special friend that I loved hearing her memories and stories as we would eat dinner out and then play maj and at her house always spend time as her daughter said, enjoying her baking even more then the game. ( and duing the pandemic playing on line with the phone as our contact!) She will be dearly missed and always in my heart.

Jean was my dads cousin. Unfortunately my father passed in August. Jean was such a wonderful and kind woman. May she Rest In Peace.
