I am a richer person for having known Elliott. I have been thinking about his soft-spoken intellect, his kindness, his character, and his appreciation for a good pun.

Elliott was my God father. I was born on his twentieth birthday. I grew up making up Ellen and Elliott stories, playing with Ace. Passover seders, family dinners. Family. Elliott and Sandy shared my daughter 's adoption and I remember the joy my mom, Muriel, had getting to know Samantha and Lishan! When I was applying to graduate school, Uncle Sam and Elliott sponsored me, always willing to discuss a legal doctrine with me as I was studying for exams. Connected so many years, so much history.
