Ellen Alisa Baer, nee Simons, age 58, beloved wife of Jeffrey Baer. Loving mother of Justin and Ryan Baer. Dear sister of Abby (Adam) Stavola and sister-in-law of Rob (Holly) Baer. Fond aunt of Ben, Jake and Rachel Stavola, Sari and Zoe Baer. Daughter of the late Thomas and Rochelle Simons. Services Monday, 10 AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Our family is grateful to the entire Baer family. I will always remember our first moving day in Northbrook across the street from them. Ellen drove by with the boys and said "welcome, we will invite you over for a BBQ" Within days they had taken our boys swimming and they introduced us around NB as newbies in the community. We are so grateful to have them all as friends. She was loved by many for her BIG heart, very generous to her friends. We miss her! Our hearts go out to Jeff, Justin, Ryan and others who loved Ellen. A sad day.
