Dear Grandpa,

In this time of great loss, I try to remember all the good times we had together.

I remember coming to visit you guys over the summers when I was a kid, it was the best part of my year. I loved just hanging out going to Walker Brothers for breakfast, getting ice cream from that cute place you took us too, and looking at her favorite art books. I had so much fun when you both visited me in Atlanta. But nothing tops the time we shared together as a family in Vegas for your 25th anniversary and again for your 90th birthday. It means a lot that we created such beautiful and lasting memories that will live on forever.

Grandma always had the coolest style from the way she decorated the house to how she dressed. She was such a classy woman and from a young age really inspired me creatively. I truly believe those visits are part of what made me into the artist I am today. I can tell you made each other very happy and you were extremely lucky to have found each other.

Love your granddaughter,
Sara
