Kent Evren Seyhun, 27

Beloved son of Tamara Seyhun and Dr. Hasan Nejat Seyhun. Cherished brother of Jonathan and Evan Seyhun. Loving grandson of Adile and the late Paul Cleland, the late Niyazi and the late Serife Seyhun. Dear nephew of Sabrina Gruttadauria, Savas Çeviker, Paul Cleland, Ali (Sibel) Seyhun, Haluk (Sevim) Seyhun and Müjgan (Ugur) Altun. Fond cousin of many. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the interment service will be private. Memorials in his memory may be made to any organization that promotes mental and emotional health and well-being. My condolences to the entire Seyhun family. A fond memory I have of Kent:
Several years ago Jon and I were swimming in the Seyhun family backyard. Kent comes out to say hello. He would always be cheerful and warm with me. He picks up a basketball and talks to Jon and I about the recent video he watched explaining the key to shooting is to place the ball on your middle finger. Jon and I just kinda nod to convey "yeah okay I doubt its that easy". Kent shoots the ball from the otherside of the pool and buries it, nothing but net. I turn around and look at him like "well okay Kent damn!". Of course, he was non-chalant about it as if he'd done it a hundred times. Kent was never one to boast or gloat, a rare, truly humble soul. I borrowed his advice and every time I remind myself to shoot with the middle finger, I think of Kent.

My sincerest sympathy to Kent's family and friends.
It always felt good to me to be around Kent, so considerate, pleasant and kind.
I like to think that we had a special bond between us, although I can see that many people would feel the same way with Kent. I feel gratitude for that bond and I know it will endure.
