Steven Donald Schmerer, 69

Devoted son of the late Irving and Ethel nee Hurwich. Loving brother of Jack (Judy) Schmerer. Dear uncle of Keith (Sarah) Schmerer, Jeremy (Melanie) Schmerer and great-uncle of Brooklyn, Makenna and Spencer. He was a longtime member of the Choir at Temple Beth Israel and other temples. Service Friday, 1:00 pm at Temple Beth Israel, 3601 West Dempster Street, Skokie. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
