OBITUARY

Philip A. Deckowitz, 85.

Son of the late Louis and Florence, nee Greenfield. Husband of the late Barbara Deckowitz, nee Miller. Father of Lyle Deckowitz, Andy (Lauren) Deckowitz and Susan (Brian) Katz. Grandfather of Cassandra, Rianna and Gina Deckowitz and Leah and Becca Katz. Brother-in-law of Glen (the late Wendy) Miller, Howard (Ginger Ridings and the late Janice) Miller and the late Ray (Anna) Miller. Philip was a dedicated supporter of his family’s charitable events until finally deciding to join with them as a participant. He devoted his life to his family, helping them to be their best selves. His quiet presence and support will be missed. Graveside service Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 10:30 AM at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W.
