To know Bill was to love him. He was always the brightest star in the room, yet he had a way of making you feel like the star. Always smiling, always joyful, with an incredible sense of humor, and a heart full of love. His love for his family knew no bounds. I will miss him deeply. ❤️

Bill was one of the finest people I’ve ever known. I met Bill nearly 30 years ago through a mutual golfing friend and we hit it off almost immediately. He was always cheerful and uplifting and his positive energy rubbed off on every one he met. In the early2000’s during the financial crisis my company was going through a rough patch and Bill gave me a pep talk as only he could and his words were so insightful; so purposeful like he knew all was going to work out!

Bill was a lot of fun to be with on the golf course. His infectious laugh always made me smile. We’d solve the world’s problems; discuss his affection for single malt scotch and he’d always tell myself and our other player Fred that he was there to teach us how to play the game of golf. Most of all he enjoyed himself, even when he wasn’t feeling his best.

I will miss my friend immensely but I know when I step on the golf course again Bill will be with me every step along the way!
My sincere condolences to Shirley and the entire family for your loss.

Bill always had a smile for everyone in the neighborhood and certainly had the cleanest car in 4 Winds. Many days we watched him lovingly clean his latest auto. He was kind and had a twinkle in his eye when we stopped to chat. He will be missed.. We are so sorry for your loss.

Shirl, Jeannie and Jamie, I have no words to express my sorrow for you. Bill was the best boss I ever had. What boss would buy a tv for the office to watch the soaps and the Cubs? Also, he allowed me to bring my youngest to work when she was a baby and into her early ages when my babysitter was sick. We had so many laughs at Steuben and some tough times too. But it's true what everyone said, Bill had the gift to deliver an extremely entertaining story. He will be watching and guiding you from above. Bill, RIP

Uncle Bill was always the heart of family events, bringing lots of laughter and amazing stories from his younger days. He had an acting prowess which was unparalleled, always excited to show off in his annual pharaoh role (wearing the appropriate headgear of course). I am sad to miss mourning with the rest of the family, rest in peace Uncle Bill 🕊️.
