Seth, Rachel David and families - your mom was the best daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend when I was with the Shanes family as their summer girl. She was such a joy to be around and was always ready to jump into fun things with her kids and nephews. I spent a long time catching up with her at your aunt Irene's shiva and will remember her fondly as a wonderful, caring lady. She touched a lot of lives! My sympathies to you all - am thinking about the whole clan and will be with you in spirit this week. Beth (Sams) Elshoff

I was heartbroken to hear of Rivkah's death. Our families go way back, to when our fathers went to law School together. They were so close that her father went on my parents' honeymoon with them. (Ask Sam or Miriam -- it's not like it sounds.) May her memory be for a blessing forever.

Duriing 1998, I had the privilege of working with Rivka in Waukegan, IL where we were both Speech Pathologists. I was so impressed by her kindness, generosity, compassion & skills that I hired to help my 5 year old son, Marc to learn the skills to develop the skills he was lacking. Under Rivka's talented, comfortable love, I witnessed an amzzing transformation. Thank you Rivka for making a difference of so many people.
