A lovely lady. I feel fortunate to have known Sue for many years.

She always made me smile when she came to the front desk at the JCC..

Susie and I grew up together in our first years by living in the same building on the west side. We had a large group of friends that were around the same age and all of us still remain friends today. Susie was a warm, bright, full of fun, strong, and leader of our group as well as many organizations. She was a treasure and very special and will be missed by everyone. Susie, we all love you. May her memory be a blessing.

I first met Susie when my brother Philip stated dating her. I immediately recognized Susie was a special person who thrived on acts of kindness, friendship, staying connected and commitment. She was humble and outgoing; cheerful, never bitter. She had incredible inner strength and energizer bunny persona. Her compassion was boundless, always there, whether it be times of sorrow or times of celebration.
Family was very important: it gave her great pride and joy. Philip and Susie had a superb marriage with love and respect. They made a wonderful team. When Susie talked about relationships, everyone she mentioned was her best friend. Her number of best friends is infinite. Her driving passions were to both meet new friends every day and to be on the look out for additional ways to make life better for others. She was the superglue that bound people and memories together. She honored the past, lived in the present, and was optimistic about the future. Susie impacted me in boundless ways. I feel deep sadness for the hurt being felt by her family and friends. She will remain in out hearts as a true "woman of valor".

Marshall and I are so sad over the passing of our wonderful Susie. She was the best sharer. We shared in the marriage of Mark and Lisa and then 3 granddaughters. In nearly 30 years never a disagreement between us.
We shared holidays, birthdays and family events. We vacationed with Susie and Steve and later with Susie and Phil. She wrapped her arms around us from the first meeting. We will always miss her presence but will cling to wonderful memories.

Manny and I were very fortunate to be
friends of Susie and Phil in Highland
Park and Weston, FL. She was always
so knowledgeable about Jewish life,
letting us know what was happening
and sharing many events. We also had
great times in Weston , attending movie ,
nights and Shabbat Services @ Temple Dor Dorim and Just being friends. Sue we love you and admire you. There will be a great void in our hearts, without you.

I first met Sue when she taught nursery school at the Lavin Center. Both of my children (now 42 and 38) went there. We started with her mom and tots group. It was evident from day one what a kind, loving and vivacious woman she was to the children. She was absolutely one of a kind, warm and very special. I'd run into her occasionally over the years and it was always enjoyable to see her. I will carry you in my heart, Sue, for your warmth and kindness made a mark on me. My condolences to her family.
